Important Info

We are leaving at noon (eat lunch before you come) this Friday November 20th and will be returning late Sunday evening November 22. We will be staying in homes while in lubbock and some students may need to sleep on an air-mattress. We recommend everyone bring twin size bedding just in case you are that student.

What to bring:

What Is Encounter LE?

Encounter LE is a unique, weekend retreat held on the campus of Lubbock Christian University. This is not your traditional retreat. Packed full of activity and energy you will be encouraged to explore and express your faith in an unfailing God. The Spiritual-focused atmosphere creates a weekend full of moments where you will encounter God and develop a more personal relationship with Christ.

What to Expect

Encounter LE is full of interactive classes, vibrant devotionals, uplifting worship, powerful speakers, concerts, comedians, and more. We will leave at noon on Friday Nov 20 (some students may need to miss a half day of school) and will return Sunday evening. We will be staying in host homes in Lubbock. All meals and lodging is provided.

Who Can Go?

Encounter is open to all teens entering 6th grade through 12th grade.

How Much Does It Cost?

Registration is free. We only ask that you pay $20 to help cover the cost of meals. This includes an unforgettable weekend full of fun activities, including live concerts, comedians, and other entertainment. See Steven for more details.
