What Is Encounter

Encounter is a unique, week-long summer camp held on the campus of Lubbock Christian University. This is not your traditional camp. Packed full of activity and energy you will be encouraged to explore and express your faith in an unfailing God. The Spiritual-focused atmosphere creates a week full of moments where you will encounter God and develop a more personal relationship with Christ.

What to Expect

Encounter is full of interactive classes, vibrant devotionals, uplifting worship, powerful speakers, concerts, comedians, and more. Students will stay in the dorms at Lubbock Christian University and eat in the famous LCU “Caf”.

Who Can Go?

Encounter is open to all teens entering 9th grade through those who have recently graduated 12th grade.

How Much Does It Cost?

The registration fee for Encounter is $305.00. This includes an unforgettable week of fun activities, including live concerts, comedians, and other entertainment. It also includes 17 meals, six nights of lodging, and a T-shirt. There is a $100 non-refundable deposit required at the time of application. This is part of your registration fee.
